Hello, hello! <3

Where to start after being quiet and not posting for a little too long?!

I’ve been through cyclical bouts of creativity (less and less often) followed by periods in which I feel just empty and bored with my own work.

Since I came back home (from London to the Canary Islands), I started to have the social life I had in the past, then got a new job, and became more and more difficult for me, to find the time to sit in front of my laptop and log in Second Life, then wasn’t just the time but the inspiration and ideas for blogging.

My new job in a law firm has challenged my ability to multitask and be 100% present and focused throughout the day, draining my energy and leaving my brain cells in a freeze.

Don't get me wrong, I love my job, I have great hours, and it's a short bus ride to and from home, saving me parking and traffic stress. It is in a beautiful old and commercial neighborhood of my city, and it is a delight to walk around, do some shopping, or have a coffee in the area. And on top of that, on Fridays I leave at 3pm, perfect for lunch and an afternoon with friends. I can't complain about anything, but it has affected my motivation to spend time in SL and my inspiration to blog.

At first, I thought it would be a matter of a couple of weeks to pick up the rhythm of this new life and get organized. But a couple of months have passed and nothing has "gotten better". I see the work that you all continue to do with your blogs and I think it's wonderful, and yes... I wonder if I have lost that spark, it saddens me to think that I may have.

I miss spending hours setting up and taking down sets, but I don't have time for that anymore, I wish 2 or 3 hours were enough!! but I’m not that quick. I see the creations of my sponsors and others in SL, and I get excited and want to work with them, but I log into SL and I'm unable to put two things together and make them look good, or at least for me… and then find the motivation to finish the scene.

I have wonderful sponsors, I still wonder how they didn't "kick me out"! and I feel horrible for not promoting their events and creations as they deserve during this downtime on my part.

I keep spending too much money every week when I browse sales and new creations, always thinking about what would look beautiful in my avatar, with a decor set or in a photo.

I have been many years in SL taking photos, (since 2007) I started the blog quite late, in the summer of 2017. I keep checking Flickr and FB almost every day and seeing the beauties you all do makes me want to buck up and take pictures.

So I don't think I'm going to disappear, from time to time I'll take photos and post on the blog, because I think it can always be useful for others to know where to find what they liked, but the most honest thing for me now is to let my place in the teams of my sponsors, for others with time, ideas and more consistency publishing on their blogs.

These years of learning and meeting new people have been tremendously enriching, I can only say THANK YOU SO MUCH!  in capital letters, for the help, support, and love that I have always received, for contributing to my personal growth and being a better person, even if it’s in a different way, I will continue here, keeping an eye on you all, only a bit quieter.

And now… after this uncomfortable and way too long speech, let me list the precious things I have used in this corner, ready for the summer by the sea, I think I will definitely move to this haven of serenity...
