I was finishing my Mauritius "paradise" set up and used one of them. I didn't edit the pictures to better showcase the WL and the textures on the objects, so you can see what you get in SL
I do not always heavy edit my pictures, but for sure it feels weird to not edit at all!! as strange as it sounds, I feel exposed! Hahaha.

Since yesterday, a neighboring island, La Palma, has a new vulcano.
The Canary Islands are volcanic, as it happens in other volcanic areas, they are emergency plans in place and monitoring teams. This is how after the start of tremors in La Palma since last Saturday, there were predictions and plans put into action, the management of this crisis has really been outstanding.
I have mixed feelings, I'm sad for those that have lost and will lose their houses and businesses, farms, etc but as a Geographer, I can't help but to be excited and amazed by the power of creation/destruction of natural phenomena like a volcano's eruption, especially when it happens on camera while we're all watching the news waiting for updates!
So yes, yesterday was a pretty intense day! and inspired me this post.
I had a vague idea but couldn't really picture it, if you will...
The architecture of Kraftwork's PAZ house boasts full-length glass windows, which immediately invites a natural landscape surrounding it straight into the heart of its 4 spacious rooms.
I imagined it on a gentle slope without a designed garden but rather, foliage from vegetation that naturally grows on the lapilli and flat-surfaced rocks instead.
The open terrace is perfect for al fresco dining/entertaining because there's privacy from cliff barriers (yay!) and the weather would always be in our favor — but, of course without any barriers or distractions from the landscape surrounding the property.

Studio Skye has recently released A Rocky Shore Building set that again is a fabulous work down to the details. the textures are compatible with the River set so you can easily combine the different pieces.
That gave me the idea of setting Scarlet Creatives and Dad's release for Fameshed by a river. A quiet place, maybe an old family house in the countryside to enjoy the weekends and unwind listening to the breeze through the trees, and at this time of the year notice how slowly some leaves start to turn from green to yellow or orange.

It's uncelivable how quickly the time pass, I'm still struggling with the fact the Chritmas eve is just 12 days away!
None will be in the house for the holidays, so I got a couple of days off and praying for an afordable flight ticket last night it! YAY! christmas with my family! ♥ (and hopefully some sunshine XD)

I haven't decorated my Xmas tree in RL yet, so imagine how difficult is becoming in SL hahaha, but I promise you my next post will have one, when I show you the living room of this house.
Beautiful layout, modern and minimal with lots of windows letting the outdoors get in house, by Convair in December's Builder's Box Snowstorm. The winter scene is put together with different bits and pieces, check the credits to find the different sets I've used. Beautiful trees by Little Branch and Keke, and frosty decor by Madras.
