After more than a year New Release by BattelScards Windlights, Yay!! This time the focus is on clear, natural lights and soft shadows for decorators and landscapers, and as you can expect, they look amazing.
I was finishing my Mauritius "paradise" set up and used one of them. I didn't edit the pictures to better showcase the WL and the textures on the objects, so you can see what you get in SL
I do not always heavy edit my pictures, but for sure it feels weird to not edit at all!! as strange as it sounds, I feel exposed! Hahaha.

Vulcano house

Since yesterday, a neighboring island, La Palma, has a new vulcano.

The Canary Islands are volcanic, as it happens in other volcanic areas, they are emergency plans in place and monitoring teams. This is how after the start of tremors in La Palma since last Saturday, there were predictions and plans put into action, the management of this crisis has really been outstanding.

I have mixed feelings, I'm sad for those that have lost and will lose their houses and businesses, farms, etc but as a Geographer, I can't help but to be excited and amazed by the power of creation/destruction of natural phenomena like a volcano's eruption, especially when it happens on camera while we're all watching the news waiting for updates!

So yes, yesterday was a pretty intense day! and inspired me this post.

I had a vague idea but couldn't really picture it, if you will...
The architecture of Kraftwork's PAZ house boasts full-length glass windows, which immediately invites a natural landscape surrounding it straight into the heart of its 4 spacious rooms. 
I imagined it on a gentle slope without a designed garden but rather, foliage from vegetation that naturally grows on the lapilli and flat-surfaced rocks instead.
The open terrace is perfect for al fresco dining/entertaining because there's privacy from cliff barriers (yay!) and the weather would always be in our favor — but, of course without any barriers or distractions from the landscape surrounding the property.

The aesthetics of black rocks and black sand in contrast with the sea is so gorgeous! It takes me back to the north coast of my island. The sea is too wild and seaspray so dense always, that wouldn't be really possible to live that close (not allowed by law) and the windows wouldn't look that nice.

But in SL we can dream! so anytime I can I rezz my houses by or in the sea. Scarlet Creative's Barcelona Beach cabin, is minimal, beautiful and stylish, so much glass, I thought it could pair very nicely with Facy Decor's Larsen set for Fameshed this month. Keeping it simple, clean, modern, using monochromes to connect with the blacks and greys of the rocks and letting the sea and the dracaenas to finish the job <3

Summer by the coast doesn't mean you have to stay in a conventional hotel and just go to the beach. You can explore nearby towns, and find lovely jewels that offer you a real taste of the region, and of course the food!

I wanted to post this earlier, but getting the move ready is more complicated than I anticipated.

Living in a city like London, during summer is when I miss "my home" the most. I can't help but think about the sea, the beach, sunshine, the lazy afternoons with family and friends.

Very light and tasty lunches with lots of veggies and fruit, cold drinks and endless conversations. That for me is a way of self-care, sharing with people that bring light and good vibes into your life.  So my holidays back home are a way of going to a retreat.

I've been thinking on doing something in SL related to that, but seems there's never enough time for that! 

So far I tried to recreate that relaxed vibe in this post. 

Near the sea, outdoors, sunshine, fresh sea breeze, tasty and fresh food and drinks, and even a place to maybe practice yoga and reconnect <3
