Well quiet...

After all the SL Bloggies Nominations it's been quite a "busy" Sunday. I just think is great to see peers supporting each other, and with some many amazing bloggers out there, working hard, inspired and inspiring, improving and delivering such beautiful work, I tell you, to narrow the nominations to a few names was a nightmare, at least for me!! sooooo difficult to choose only one for each category.

It wasn't at all expected and feel very honored to have a nomination among others I follow and admire, and I'm extremely grateful to those that thought of me and put my name there ♥♥♥♥

As I've said before I've been slow lately posting, I'm starting to feel better, but still so sleepy it's untrue!  It has taken me a while to get this post ready, changing and redoing...so frustrating!! Finally today I finished! I wanted a cozy place, outside in the garden to sit with friends under the warm afternoon sunshine, and treat ourselves to some fragrant coffee and sweets ♥

I've always wanted a big bathroom in my house, with a lovely bath, to soak and relax in after a long day, during the weekend or staycations... hehehe... somewhere to pamper myself and this creators are really helping to make it posssible ♥

Winter so far has been quite mild here (London), who knows if we will also get some of this Russian cold wind that is affecting other areas.

Last year was quite a snowy one for this city, let see what happens this year... So far I'm loving to work with winter/snow scenes in SL, like with Galland Homes release for Fameshed, has a snow roof add on, and this beautiful Bridge by Ches Moi ♥

I know that this is not the style of the traditional country houses in Finland, but it still reminds me a lot of the summers of my childhood, near the sea or the lake, with my grandmother.

The walks in the forest to pick mushrooms, blueberries or wild strawberries. The endless afternoons enjoying the sun and surrounded by forest, flowers, then everything was done outdoors.

So for this post I tried to reflect a little that, a family home, the kids' toys always left around and the  family afternoons, I specially loved my granny tellinf sories about her mother, about war etc, was like watching a movie ♥

Like many others I have my land and I spend 90% mytime there, or on the platform. Such hermit :P
I don't have a "home" as I need many prims available for the scenes for my blogposts, but what I do, when I put together a deco I really like, is to keep it for as long as I can!

I landscaped my land in a way I could have some green area, but also beach, I miss it so much in RL, at least here I can have it any time. So all this works as a base I slightly modify to adapt it to the pic when needed.

These past days with my boss away on holiday had felt sooo long... Finally tomorrow I'm off yes!

So this evening I could really enjoy some more the beach and the sea at home in SL.

I used the head LOGO Alex for a long time, hoping they would release the bento version some day, and yes they did!! I haven't taken a picture wearing it that showed it a bit more, also wearing the great piercings available ^^

I'm still diving in my inventory, changing the house's look constantly with the gorgeous realeases for this summer *giggles*

On sunday I will be taking a break, flying back home to the gorgeous Canary Islands to celebrate my birthday with family and friends YAY!

So you may understand I'm loving all those releases that invite you to spend time outdoor enjoying the sunshine, sometimes isn't that easy when you look out through the window and all you see is a grey rainy day, but hey!! summer is round the corner, so let's get in the mood ♥

N4RS has created such and awesome set for The Arcade, is stunning, woth every penny you play on those machines, I had to rezz this gorgeous swimingpool and put together something.

I'm planning a bbq to celebrate my RL birthday, so CICA's release for Illuminate is just perfect for my party in SL *grins* it's made with so much care and detail, wood texture colour, different types of food, textures for the placemats, it's awesome!

I love Unkindness' Boho patio set for Illuminate, such good vibe and beautiful textures, perfect for your summer terrace, or a little corner in the garden, it simply is beautiful.

Then there is this stunning pavillion by Galland Homes, so elegant... I'm so looking forward to my late afternoons there enjoying the sunset with some music on the background and and cold drink ^^
