Summer seems to still be quite shy here in the UK, but in SL I'm totally into the summer mood!
Mainstore releases and events are in great part now offering anything you could wish for making your SL summer, a gorgeous one.

I'm featuring in this post Concept's collection for The Arcade, inspired in the memories and life by the Mediterranean Sea and, Dutchie's and Revival's releases at FaMESHed. I've tried to keep the editing to the minimum, and of course, I had to take more than one shot.

Yes it's July, we're in summer!!
... and yet the last week has been more like autumn, we've had our deal of cold and rain, ok it's not super cold but 17º-18ºC is fresh enough, especially when the sky is so grey, that the day feels dark and moody...
I just wanted a cozy and warm corner to enjoy a hot tea and cake, well yes, no cake in the picture I already ate it! :P

Now more than ever, I miss the beach, the sea and the salty breeze.
I have my flight back home for the end of April, but who knows if I'll be able to go, here in the UK nothing is certain. Still going to work and dealing with daily problems as usual, the difference is that the streets, trains etc are half empty and supermarkets crazy busy´
Let's see what happens in the next weeks

Con vistas al mar

ReBourne is back with more event and mainstore releases. Vista Mar was a mainstore release in mid February with a 50% discount during the first 48hrs.
It's a gorgeous house very generous of space both indoors and outdoors, includes animated swimming pool, pier, some shrubs and trees and two sheds that can be used for example as relaxing areas independent to the main house, and the option to rez it either as a skybox or as a ground version.
The work on the textures and the lightning is outstanding, the house has a menu with wall colour changer, and to control light & sounds, and scenery if it's the skybox version.
I've included more raw pictures, taken at night, so that you can appreciate the work done with the lights and textures.

Like many others I have my land and I spend 90% mytime there, or on the platform. Such hermit :P
I don't have a "home" as I need many prims available for the scenes for my blogposts, but what I do, when I put together a deco I really like, is to keep it for as long as I can!

I landscaped my land in a way I could have some green area, but also beach, I miss it so much in RL, at least here I can have it any time. So all this works as a base I slightly modify to adapt it to the pic when needed.
