Thank you for the lessons

jueves, diciembre 31, 2020

Dear 2020 thank you for the lessons learned and giving me strength, patience and focus I needed, but I'm really happy to see you go.
As many of you I'm sure, I'm so ready for 2021!!

With the restrictions tonight is going to be very different, just with my mother and her partner, at home, nice dinner, drinks and treats. I got 5 of my closest friends to come over after lunch  for "a coffee". I haven't seen them for more than a year so we also opened a bottle of champagne and toasted for a healthy and better 2021. To know that my loved ones are good, is all I need ♥

So my SL post is one about myself indulging myself in SL classy&sexy dress by Dead Doll, and it's a Xmas Group Gift!! The gorgeous earrings by Kunglers discounted now at "The Outlet", and those to die for sandals by Gos at FameshedX.
I surrounded myself with glitter and gold, champagne by Cinoe and special treat by Madras ^^ with the help of Tartessos and Moss&Mink.

I'm ready for some music to dance the night away. Cheers!

My very best wishes for everyone, health, peace and love ♥♥

Christmas dinner

domingo, diciembre 27, 2020

Very little can be compared to Christmas dinner with your family.
Dining room ready, presents wrapped, food ready, drinks ready!!
With the restrictions in place due to the pandemic, can't all meet for dinner, so somehow feels the Christmas celebrations are longer in time, as you only get to see a very few everytime. Thank God here it's much warmer and less rainy, so that we can meet outdoors and stay safe.
This collab between Fancy Decor and Kraftwork, available at The Arcade is gorgeous, and has so many options, perfect for this holiday season, but also all year round, with different textures and design of the place settings!
It's Boxing Day! don't miss doing your shopping in SL too!

Happy Holidays!

jueves, diciembre 24, 2020

Finally the day I get to take my flight and see my family  after 15 months has come!
Yay!!
Ok luggage is half way through but I still have four hours, yes I guess I won't sleep much, I can sleep during the flight ^^
Negative test certificate, boarding pass, my QR code for Spain all printed just in case my phone decides not to work, and taxi booked with 45min extra.
This few week before the trip had been hectic and I haven't been able to post as much as I planned before my holidays, but I'm taking my laptop with me, so that I can post the decor in the background of this post and maybe some more. But no stress and lots of family time and hopefully getting to see a couple of friends.
In spite of all the restrictions in place in most places, however you celebrate during this time, I hope you get to share your holidays with your loved ones in good health, at the end of the day, that's what really matters.
Happy holidays! ♥

Morning walks are a blessing

lunes, diciembre 21, 2020

What a couple of weeks!
Every week some changes in regulations, either in the UK or in Spain, changing and adapting the Christmas plans.
Things in the UK are getting pretty bad, specially in London where I live, and as clinically extremely vulnerable (that's my category according to the Government) taking the underground to go to work every day, and being the "front of the house" can some days be really stressful. As a result I'm always tired, doesn't matter how much I sleep and some days my inspiration is nowhere to be seeing.
I haven't seen my family and friends since September 2019 and my father being diagnosed with cancer, had surgery, radiotherapy etc etc during March's lockdown and not to be there, just adds up!
So as selfish as it may sound to some, I got a flight ticket for November that was cancelled and changed it for Christmas instead. Because it's been 15 months without family and friends healing on my own last winter and spring, plus everything that has happened in the family, I really need this break and go and see them.
My private test (after a couple of changes) is booked for Tuesday evening after work, and so far EasyJet hasn't cancelled flights to the Canaries, so I still plan to board the plane the 24th early morning.
Wish me luck! ♥

And after my venting :P let's get to the lovely things I'm wearing for my Sunday out with the dogs! (I really needed the fresh air and exercise). Dead Dolls outfit available at Santa Inc, it's soooo cute! I love that the skirt can be opaque or sheer, and the warm sweater, all in such lovely colours. Tableau's hairs for The Arcade are really sweet with three different styles, you can always hide the headbands if you want. Amitie has been working hard on the props for the poses now available at The Epiphany, I had to wear those ear mufflers and the skates, both done to such detail, so yes! I was feeling super cute! LOL
I hope you like it! ♥

Golden hour

jueves, diciembre 17, 2020

When you have the chance to enjoy the light before sunset, the golden sunshine flooding in through the windows, somehow I always feel it magical.

Last night the deco was almost done when I went to sleep, and today without a mouse had been tricky to finish it, I'm not that quick using the touchpad of my laptop, and the pen of the graphic tablet is impossible IW, gets you spinning when using the zoom lol
